The students are currently studying about electricity.  We have learned about the atom and its different sub-atomic particles: neutrons, protons, and electrons.  We know that electricity is an energy that involves the flow of electrons.  We experimented with static electricity using a Vandergraf generator.  Next, we learned about current electricity, direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC).   Then the students build a simple circuit using a battery, conductors (wires), and a receiver (light bulb).
